Office Update
Posted on 03/18/2020
In light of the recent developments with the coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to take a moment to reach out to the Myers Orthodontics family. We want to assure you that, unless we are advised otherwise by State or Federal authorities, we will remain open!
First, we want to affirm that our standard practices for sterilization and disinfection are very effective, but we are going above and beyond during this time in order to ensure maximum cleanliness in our office, the treatment area, and all common areas.
Next, we are closely following the CDC's (Center for Disease Control) updates, guidelines, and recommendations for preventing the further spread of the virus. Like we mentioned above, we take cleanliness and sanitization very seriously, and we will continue to stress the importance of this with our staff. You can help us with this, too! If your child (or you) are feeling poorly or have a fever, please call us to reschedule. We will be more than happy to help you with this!
Lastly, we are asking that you please bring only the individual patient into the office on the day/time of their appointment. Please do not bring siblings or other friends/family into the office if at all possible. This will help maintain more space in the lobby and in our treatment area, which helps to decrease the spread of illness.
As always, we want to ensure the health and safety of our patients, our families, and our staff. We are watching the ever-developing situation, and will continue to be diligent in our efforts to do our part in stopping the spread of the virus. Please contact us at (865) 687-6560 if you have questions or if we can help in any other way.
Thank you!
Dr. Beau Myers & the staff of Myers Orthodontics
